Hi there, I’m 
Jean Yves Chainon, a.k.a. ‘ooa revo’.
I like to create using different media including photos, videos, writing, painting, XR media and more.
I used to work as a multimedia journalist when I embarked on a solo USA road trip adventure, which I documented in photos, writing and videos.
While I did this I also started asking people I met “What’s your philosophy of Life?” and recorded their video interviews, as well as portraits and notes.
I posted about this and got good feedback so I decided to make a movie out of it.
This led to further travels around the world, including a one-year trip through Asia, all told through multimedia storytelling.
I’ve always liked doing everything on my own, whether it’s creating stories, photos, videos, art, or web design, but as the project grows I realize it’s important to let other people help so I can focus on bringing you the best possible stories and creative content.
So since the relaunch of the site in 2015, OOAworld has grown from a one-person adventure to a collaborative journey:
Carole Chainon (Kongprachith) : a.k.a. ‘Coco’ – we’re high-school sweethearts and after a very very long hiatus we got back together in 2012. She’s the love of my life, one of the most generous and caring people I’ve ever met, and also an enduring traveler.
Carole has helped in innumerable ways, but perhaps mostly by dealing with me throughout all the Asia travels! She’s the founder of Rolling Coconut, a travel site, and now works as the Editor of the Travel section. She features practical information and travel tips of all the places visited.
