If you’re looking for a one week Philippines itinerary, we probably could have spent less time in Manila and more time in Sagada to visit the famous caves and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The Batad and Banaue Rice Terraces and El Nido were the highlights of our trip. We will most likely go back there one of these days.

Or for islands and beach destinations, we considered Boracay as a beach destination but did not want to be surrounded by tourists, El Nido was the perfect gem (go there fast, before it becomes Boracay).

If you plan to spend three weeks in the Philippines, you could follow our Philippines itinerary and add Boracay or another island. Another place we wanted to visit was Bohol and its chocolate hills, but we did not get to this time.

Where did you go when in the Philippines? What was your favorite place? Share your traveling stories with us! We’d love to hear about your itinerary 🙂 Salamat po!
